Choosing the Académie Charpentier means:

The Académie Charpentier has been the private School of Applied Arts for more than 70 years where future Interior Designers are trained. True to its original values: creativity, humanity, contemporaneity, and enjoying a strong artistic imprint, it has remained a human scale institution. In 1958, it inherited the Académie de la Grande Chaumière, a hub of creative expression and plastic experimentation. The new Head of the Académie Charpentier has been supporting its exploratory work in the field of Applied Arts, while being part of modernity.
All our teachers are professionals involved in the trade they teach.
The subjects studied, the researches conducted by the students are suggested or proposed based on real-life data. They are dual-purpose exercises, as much “rehearsals” or simulations than concrete situations and didactic materials.
Conferences given by leading personalities in their fields are opportunities to grasp different visions of today's world, to hear the point of view on a profession, to think in groups then to write individually.
