Our students in Marseille....

Marseille was the destination for the Académie Charpentier’s 2023 annual study trip. It was an opportunity to (re)discover the city of Marseille.

Led by our professor Charles-Henri Rambaud, this small group of second-year students enjoyed a well-rounded itinerary featuring a variety of themes, which made the trip highly educational and facilitated exchanges and discussions with the students. A fortunate coincidence in the schedule allowed for a series of highly complementary visits and exhibitions:“Civilizations”at the Mucem;architecture, interior design, and designbetween the docks, the port, and Le Panier, followed by the Cité Radieuse;contemporary art and scenographyat the MAC;agriculture, Ecology, Urban Planning, and Comicsat the Belle de Mai / and finallyTechnologyat the Departmental Archives (an impromptu visit to an exhibition that had just opened, which proved very enriching).

A generally brisk pace, while still allowing for a few moments of
“tranquility” and leisurely sightseeing.

A wonderful experience.
