Projects

As the culmination of the journey at the Académie Charpentier, the graduation project marks the transition from academia to professional life. It embodies each student’s personal vision, creativity, and attention to detail, nurtured by five years of study at the heart of design and interior architecture.

Supported throughout the year by a faculty team composed of practicing professionals, students develop a comprehensive project—from conception to final presentation—that demonstrates their mastery of contemporary aesthetic, technical, and environmental challenges.

The projects presented here showcase the diversity, maturity, and dedication of the Class of 2025 at the Académie Charpentier, who are ready to envision the spaces of tomorrow.

Abbey of the Springs

This project draws inspiration from the student’s childhood memories of the Normandy seascapes and the silent power of nature.
Fuelled by an exploration of Land Art, it examines the connection between territory, time, and creation. “L’Éloge de l’Éphémère” offers an artistic journey between Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue and Tatihou Island, punctuated by structures evoking the natural elements. An artist residency program hosts artists in an immersive setting, while a museum showcases their works to the public. The project restores a sensory identity to Tatihou, where art, nature, and memory converge.

This graduation project transforms a former abbey in Luxeuil-les-Bains into a wellness and hospitality center, extending the spa-goers’ experience beyond treatments.
Centered around water, the venue offers a spa, baths, gentle therapies, and accommodations in a soothing atmosphere. The project also showcases the region through dining, tastings, herbalism, and local products. The park becomes a sensory space connecting the landscape with its various uses. Open to all, it reimagines the heritage by blending history, well-being, and local vitality.
