ERASMUS

As a member of the Erasmus+ program for higher education and a signatory to the Erasmus Charter from 2014 to 2020, the Academy promotes mobility opportunities in Europe and internationally for students (study periods or internships).

The Academy aims to further strengthen its collaboration with higher education institutions both within and outside Europe that are renowned for their expertise in our areas of specialization.

When?

Students can study abroad during semesters 4, 5, 6, and 7.

Acknowledgments

If you are going abroad to study, your stay will count as one semester at the Academy.
A study agreement will be signed by your home university, the host university, and you to specify the courses you are taking and the corresponding ECTS credits (30 ECTS for one semester). After your study period, a transcript will be submitted to the Academy, and your semester will be officially recognized. Upon your return, you will present the work you completed during your stay to a committee.

Practical Information

Erasmus Mobility Grants

Whether you’re participating in a company internship or studying at a partner institution, you may be eligible for an Erasmus grant, which can be combined with other forms of funding.
You can search for an internship on your own or consult with us. We’ll help you with the administrative procedures and provide you with a list of our partner companies abroad.For study abroad: There are notuition fees to pay. You are responsible for your own flight/travel and housing costs. Our partner universities offer assistance in finding housing. Participants with disabilities may be eligible for a specific supplementary Erasmus grant.

How do I prepare my application?

The application form must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • A cover letter in both languages + resume
  • A copy of the transcripts
  • A copy of the ID card
  • A portfolio
  • Proof of proficiency in the language used at the host university / English proficiency test

Submission Deadline

Applying to Study Abroad

  • United States: November 30 for a departure in early August.
  • Europe: Between February 1 and May 31 (depending on the university) for a start date in early September; between June 1 and November 1 (depending on the university) for a start date in early February.
  • The Commission's response three weeks later

Preparing for International Mobility

Your language proficiency level

Language assessment before departure.
English is required; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
During your stay, you must enroll in the language courses offered by the partner institution and have your assessment validated by the language instructor at the end of the semester.
Upon your return, you will be required to take a final proficiency test.

Organizing language workshops and picnics

    The organization of workshops and language picnics aimed at developing intercultural competence, understanding work practices in other countries, and practicing foreign languages. These workshops and picnics will be open to everyone and are designed specifically to help students prepare for study abroad.

    Things to Do Before You Leave

    Documents to be submitted: valid ID card, passport, F-1 visa, health insurance, etc.

    Learning Agreement

    The student must submit the Learning Agreement, along with a list of the courses they wish to take, two weeks after arriving at the host institution, accompanied by the Arrival Certificate.
    The host institution must provide the transcript for the semester spent at that institution two weeks after the student’s return to France.
