Booklet 2: Validation

Once you have received the notice of admissibility, you must request and prepare for validation by the review panel. This validation is based on a review of Validation Booklet 2, which you will have prepared.
This Validation Booklet 2 will allow the panel to assess whether you have acquired the skills required for certification. To complete the review of this Validation Booklet 2, the panel will invite you to an evaluation interview.

Workbook 2 for assessment includes:

  • A description of your professional and personal experience.
  • Evidence of your professional experience.

The interview with the panel is scheduled following the review of Book 2.It allows the panel to obtain additional information or to confirm the details mentioned in your Book 2. The duration of the interview varies depending on the certifying body; generally, it does not exceed one hour.

Please note: Following the enactment of the Labor Market Act of December 21, 2022, the right to recognition of prior learning was expanded in 2023. Our procedure and Workbook 2 are therefore currently valid and will be updated in accordance with future regulations.

The Final Evaluation

Who organizes the juries?

Each certifying body is responsible for forming its own panels. It is therefore up to the certifying body to set the dates for the certification sessions and to notify you of them.

How does he go about it?

Based on your Validation Booklet 2 and, depending on the certification, the panel evaluates the skills you have acquired through your experience. It verifies that these skills meet the requirements set by the certifying body. The interview allows the panel to gather additional information. It’s up to you to make your case!

What decisions can the jury make?

  • Full validation: You receive the certification in its entirety.
  • Partial certification: You earn a portion of the certification (one or more skill sets)
  • Rejection of validation: Your prior learning does not meet the required level of skills and knowledge.
