How can we approach and develop sustainable design and architecture? What does this term actually mean? Which materials should we prioritize, and what are the common assumptions about them? What is truly sustainable?

These are just some of the questions that designer and interior architect Patrick Jouin plans to address during the lecture he will give at the Académie Charpentier on Friday, February 5, 2021, inlightof the recent launch of the “Interior Architecture—Responsible and Sustainable Design” degree program.

This lecture, which is open only to students of the Académie Charpentier, will be posted online at a later date.
